Personal Perspective
As "Silverlight Geek" and "Developer Community Liaison" it is my job to build and maintain your satisfaction with programming Silverlight in any way I can. I've been allowed to build on two decades experience as a programmer, teacher and author to create code, presentations, and content directed at professional programmers including videos, and tutorials, while making presentations at various industry events. I'm also part of an incredible team that includes some of the best and brightest people at Microsoft.
After 18 months, I love this job. I've met more interesting people, learned more and had more fun doing it than I have any right to expect in these times. I am deeply grateful.
I work from home in the Cambridge/Boston area but I go to Redmond frequently to check in with the team and the first thing they always ask is "what are you hearing in the community?" -- so be sure to let me know what you think because the folks writing the code want to know and I'll do my best to be a faithful reporter.
