TextBlock BOLD unanimatable in Blend 2 :)

Is it me or its impossible to animate the BOLD of a TextBlock in Blend 2 ?

I did try and it doesn't work.  Let say you have text that isn't bold.  You perform an animation like a background appear behind the text and you want the text to become BOLD when the background is visible.  But when I press BOLD, it STAYS BOLD and doesn't transition from NON BOLD to BOLD ?

Unfortunately currently Blend still doesn't support ObjectAnimation quite well. You can generate a few properties such as Visibility with ObjectAnimation, but properties like FontWeight are not supported by Blend yet. Anyway, you can manually write the Storyboard:

<Storyboard x:Name="Storyboard1">

<ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetName="tb" Storyboard.TargetProperty="FontWeight">

<DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="00:00:01" Value="Bold"/>

</ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames>

</Storyboard>
