Um, sure, but there's not link anywhere to that page, you must type it in to get to it. Shouldn't there be a search box on every forum page so we can easily search?

no. go to the form homepage. there is a link called "advanced search" at the right corner.. but I agree that search box should be available everypage.

Re: Search engine

We should at least have the SEARCH TEXTBOX on top of every thread so we dont have to go somewhere to search.  Like 99% of the forums in the world

More then that, having this textbox to search wouldn't make us loose the text in which we are reading which helps us write the text we wanna search.  Even the drag drop is useful in this case.

Re: Search engine

Hi, as has been mentioned elsewhere in this Feedback forum, we are working on adding the Search box to each page in the Forums area.  Hopefully we will be able to get that onto the site soon.

That's a very great news.  This makes my day.  Keep the good work.  The forum is excellent.

Re: Search engine

Isn't Search a standard feature of Community Server? How was it forgotten? Since, it isn't here, I was wondering if MS went a different route than CS for this site.

Well, anyway, it'll be great once it gets added.

Search sure is a standard feature of Community Server.  Unfortunately, the firm that designed this site neglected to add Search to the design.  So now it is a matter of designing it back in, slicing and dicing the HTML, and implementing it on it the site.

Re: Search engine

Thank you once again for your input. We have just added a search box at the top of most forum pages to make it much easier to find!

Re: Search engine

Is there a way to search within a specific forum only, instead just searching the entire site?
