I submitted my little app (http://www.xaml-kru.com/silverglobe/) to the gallery and
also to the showcase the day before yesterday, but so far it doesn't appear and I
haven't received any email or messages.

I've tried to submit it to the Gallery before and it didn't show up either... which I
thought it was because it was based on SL 1.1 and it was shortly before MIX08.

Is there something wrong with the approval process? I don't see anything wrong
with my app, at least like it  But if there was, I would expect somekind of
feedback, right?

one thing that could be wrong, is that it doesn't work in Firefox. Keep getting that "Get Silverlight" thing (an on another computer it crashes), when it does work in IE. Besides that, your app rocks.

Never thought of countries are arrays:

Thanks, I fixed this now... what a stupid error. I forgot to add the comma after the mime-type:

Thanks for your submissions.   We generally approve Showcase and Community Gallery submissions every 2 weeks.   Your application did not work, which is why is was not approved for the Gallery when it was first submitted.  I don't think we are sending out emails when we approve or deny entries; I have now logged that suggested process improvement.

Now that you've resubmitted it to both the Showcase and the Gallery, we'll take another look at them.  We will be publishing new Gallery entries today; your submission did not come in time for that batch so it will be reviewed with the next batch.  The next batch will likely be published on April 8.  The next batch of Showcase entries is scheduled to be published on April 1.
