Is/Will there be support for SL 2 SQL Report Services? Would be nice to have ability to process and display data via LINQ and export to excel, xml, etc. Please send links if anyone comes across this topic.
I'm currently working with the new v9 SQL 2005 reports and they can export to supported file formats.
Would that work for you or are you trying to create the reports with Silverlight and no SQL Server reporting services? Salute, Mark
Report Services are new to me. I would like to use LINQ to SQL to allow results displayed with data grid and still have the ability to convert to the various formats. Was curious if this was in the works or already available.
Both LINQ and SQL Server are currently ready for your requests...SQL Server 2005 and the .NET Framework 3.5 work better together than they ever have.
And of course SQL Server 2008 is bringing new capabilities to the table this year.
