Hi,

I've installed Visual Studio Trial edition and silverlight_chainer executable and everything went well. My silverlight projects open but i am not able to see in design mode in visual studio. it just doesn't appear, neither the toolbox.

Can you tell what it might be?

Can you please try to create new project and check whether you are able to see the XAML designer in VS 2008 or not?

it just doesn't appear. I create a c# Silverlight application,  and the design view option doesn-t appear. Even in the menus.
 

Try this. Right click any xaml file like Page.xaml file. Click the 'Open With' option. Now choose the 'Windows Presentation Foundation Designer' option - this must be the first option. Now click 'Set as Default'.

I'm not sure. The only reason I can think of is if he manually changed the setting there inadvertently. But looks like he didn't; I can't think of any other reason.
