Silverlight 1.0 or 1.1?  Also, if you're working with the RTM of Visual Web Developer 2008, they haven't released Tools that work with the RTM yet.  You can get the Silverlight 1.0 project template working but it takes a little work:

Looks like we are still waiting for the latest 1.1 (or is it 2.0 now) template for the VS2008 that I just downloaded from MSDN

i could not get you. As such Silverlight project template is availabe for VS 2008, but that does not runs on Visual Web Developer 2008. so i am looking if something on this front is available or expected soon.
