Pete Brown is Architect, Project Manager and Client Technologies Evangelist for Applied Information Sciences, and a consultant to Microsoft. Since his first sprite graphics and custom character sets on the Commodore 64, Pete has always had a deep interest in UI design and animation. In July 2007, Pete was responsible for the first Silverlight 1.1 alpha application to go into production, the Conservation International Carbon Calculator. Since then, he has spoken at numerous events and groups, singing the praises of Silverlight and Expression.
